Each BatteryWall model offers an energy storage capacity of 6.4 kWh - enough to supply private households with the electricity generated by the solar system during the evenings and nights. For larger energy requirements, several BatteryWall battery systems can of course be installed together. By using the electricity produced during the day, the demand and availability peaks of the public electricity grid are bridged and self-produced solar electricity is always available when you need it.
Independence
By combining a solar system with one or more BatteryWalls, you can minimize your dependence on the public power grid. Your household can therefore generate 100% sustainable solar power. On a typical day, BatteryWall and solar panels can cover all your household's electricity needs when used privately.
Reserves
In the event of a power failure, the BatteryWall can continue to power your entire home or certain devices. In combination with a photovoltaic system, the BatteryWall enables you to continue to use your own electricity even in the event of a power failure. The emergency power function and the uninterruptible power supply by a BatteryWall are also of great value for your company. For example, computers or entire server rooms can continue to be supplied with power in the event of a power failure without the computers and servers crashing.
Material
The elegant design of the BatteryWall clearly sets it apart from other power storage devices. The BatteryWall is based on proven lithium-ion battery technology to provide you with reliable power. Above all, we focus on one thing: safety. During their service life, photovoltaic storage units such as the BatteryWall are charged and discharged thousands of times over many years. This is why we have chosen lithium-ion batteries as a particularly reliable, sustainable and safe battery technology. They are considered more durable and safer than many other lithium-ion batteries used in smartphones, laptops and electric cars. In addition, lithium iron phosphate is the only battery material that even occurs as a natural compound and does not contain any toxic heavy metals.
Safety
Our BatteryWall models have neither exposed power cables nor hot ventilation slots - so they can also be used without hesitation in households with children and/or pets. In addition, the battery system is weatherproof, waterproof and dustproof and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors.
Installation
The BatteryWall is compact and easy to mount on the wall or floor. When installed on the floor, up to ten BatteryWalls can be combined to form one large power storage unit.
Costs
The final system configuration and price are based on the type of fuse box you have, the power consumption of your household, the model and number of BatteryWalls, and the location you plan to install them in. For more information, please refer to our separate "Cost" page.
